ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
Tamarind Hills is the creation of one of the Caribbean’s most experienced and successful development teams, assuring you of the highest standards and services. The development team is headed by Rufus Gobat, and the board includes John Hobson and Loknath Agarwalla.
- Rufus is a director of the very successful Cap Maison, St. Lucia which has recently won Best small resort in the Caribbean as voted for by Conde Nast. Rufus has had over 20 years experience of developing and operating resorts throughout the Caribbean.
- John Hobson, has overseen many large scale construction projects and was a pioneer in Southern Spain’s property boom in the 1970’s.
- Loknath is based in the UK and has successfully developed in some of the most prestigious areas, including central London and Sandbanks in Dorset.
The Project Manager Paul Smith has been based in Antigua for several years, and is a chartered Civil Engineer by profession, having worked for Lang O’Rourke on some of London’s largest projects including the Jubilee line extension and the cross rail project. Paul heads up the professional team including the Interior Designer, Charmaine Werth, the on-site architect Newton Charles, the Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing specialist David Crump and the Product Design Manager Alex Gobat.
Lane Pettigrew Associates, is a world-renowned architectural firm with offices in Miami, St. Lucia, and Honduras. Lane Pettigrew, a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, is an award-winning designer delivering over sixty diverse projects of luxury homes and resorts in over twenty Caribbean countries since 1985. His work consistently achieves the highest honours and prices.
