The tranquillity and privacy of a luxury villa or apartment at Tamarind Hills belies its convenient location close to some of Antigua’s finest restaurants and attractions. Indeed, one of the island’s most highly rated restaurants, Sheer, is located just a short walk along the beach, as is the popular island rendezvous, Dennis’s Bar, renowned for its Sunday suckling pig roast.
Tamarind Hills is a 20 minute drive to the International Airport, and a 15 minute drive to the capital St Johns. A little to the south are the world renowned five star hotels Carlisle Bay and Curtain Bluff, with all the attractions at English harbour a beautiful 40 minute drive away through the rainforest.
The nearby Jolly Harbour Marina offers a good choice of shops and local services with a very well stocked supermarket, banks, a pharmacy and post office – all the essentials close by. And for an evening flutter, The Grand Princess Casino, the best of the three on the island, is also located in the Jolly Harbour area.
